James Booth extract the finest quality brown and blue shale, sandstone, fill material and rockery stone from our site in Harwood. Blue shale is used in the manufacture of bricks and our customers include Weinerberger, Ibstock Building Products and Hanson’s.
Our stone fill material is employed in a wide variety of different engineering and construction projects. James Booth are also suppliers of fine screened ash to industry and the general public.
Details and prices of the various materials produced at Harwood Quarry are available to interested parties upon request. All products can either be collected from site (by prior arrangement), or delivered anywhere within the UK at highly competitive rates.
The electronic weighbridge on site is also available at short notice as a ‘check weight’ facility up to 44 tonnes as required.
James Booth has a fully fitted workshop equipped with a digital roller brake-tester, tyre vulcanising equipment, headlight aligner and a computerised emissions analyser.
Our technicians have expertise in a wide variety of vehicles and are always on hand to provide advice and assistance as required.
